Oh oh! Two mono amps arriving, no more outlets!
« on: 7 Jul 2007, 03:21 pm »
I have a pair of mono amps and a pre on order.  While looking over my equipment trying to make mental notes on what I'll have to shuffle around, I realized I didn't give power a concern.

My equipment wall only has two sets of outlets, while I do run a Belkin PF60 for power management, the wall outlets themselves are full.  I need to run the mono amps directly into the wall outlet and am looking for suggestions.  From what I understand, It appears it is best to not use a product which filters nor conditions, which is why I am having a hard time finding what I need.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

How about a Channel Islands Audio XDC-1?

I have the same problem - only a single duplex outlet for the entire system. I've used Hammond outlet strips in the past (and would sell them if anyone could use them), but now I use a pair of SurgeX SA1810 surge protection devices that gives me 20 outlets and peace of mind.

They also claim to provide some power filtering.
