I build the Bob speakers linked to earlier with the different drivers and digital crossover.
While mine work very well and fit the review above to a T, I would caution anyone before tinkering too much with SLs design unless you have a very good reason.
I did my changes because I have a very big room and because I was also meandering along in a similar design before the Orion was released.
There is so much thought and experience that has gone into the Orion that I suspect change for change sake, or attempts to adapt it to 'audiophile-approved' status will do more harm than good.
