Wallys Vinyl Corner
« on: 20 Aug 2003, 02:01 pm »
I just purchased the VPI JMW 10.5 Memorial tonearm for my VPI HW19 mkVI and found this site to help me setup the tonearm and to tweak the arm a little.  The site is http://www.simplyblack.net/english/index_eng.htm and you need to click the "Wallys Vinyl Corner" on the upper left side of the main page to enter into Wally Malewicz of WAM Engineering pages.  Does anyone have any experience with Wally Malewicz products?  If not, what are your general feeling of his offerings and theories?

I was thinking of purchasing the following products:
   Wallytractor
   Wally VTA Gauge
   Wally Skater
   Tuning Kit for JMW 10/10.5/12/12.5/12.6

Any feedback would be very helpful.  Thanks...

check out the Audio Asylum's vinyl archives for more info.  I've never heard anyone complain about Wally's stuff.  It seems to be highly recommended by all.

Thanks for the reply.

That is what I've read on AA also and after talking to him over the phone, he seems to know what he is taling about.  I'm just looking for other people who have used his tools.

Thanks once again for the reply!
