Hello!
     I am looking for any thoughts/comments on the the Silverline Sonatina II's.  I would really like to hear opinions from people who have had the chance to hear these speakers.

Hi Bobby.  


  While I don't own the Silverline Sonatina II's...I have heard them a couple of times.  These speakers have a nice full sound to them...the times I've heard them (hooked to tube amps) they may be a tad on the dark side...I really like'em actually...these are speakers you can just listen to nonstop for days...enjoying every minute of every last clear detail.  But where these speakers really shine is in the soundstage & imaging department...these speakers can throw one of the most holographic soundstages you'll ever hear (course this also depends on the rest of your system, amp and room).  

  All in all...they are a joy to listen to...but...for myself...If I were buying them...I'd look used to save some money.

I agree about the Silverlines, I had heard and had a friend buy the Panatella IIs(nowIIIs). These are what I'd check out first!
