Ok, it was inevitable right? Show your pet pix. Here's my little buddy, who's of course my avatar. Yeah she's fat, lazy and a bit smelly, but she's about as good natured as a critter can be. Here, she jumped up in the middle of the set while we were testing lighting just ready for her closeup. Ladies and gentleman....."Shamu".

Alas, none of these fish are with me anymore.  I had to pass them on when I moved from North Carolina to Michigan.

Stevie Ray, the six lined wrasse

Dizzy, the sharpnosed puffer fish

Coleman, the longnosed hawkfish

Bowie, the Picasso triggerfish

and this is where/how he sleeps at night durring the summer.....

not too bright, but a real sweety, and a great mouser, too boot!
and obviously, a great judge of character.
What is truly sad is that now that we're 'empty nesters' with both sons nominally adults and out of the house, I've anthropomorphised this dullard and taken to addressing Icabod as 'honey'

Where are all you dog lovers?

Here is my really old Berner (Bernese Mountain Dog), Macha. She is almost 17 now. Thats 7 years older than the rest of her breed normally live. She's pretty decrepit but shes still hanging on.

...and this one is the Devil incarnate, Pepper our Aussie

and the last one is my childhood dog Nekko, a Basenji

....and yes, thats me a really long time ago.

Scott - Macha looks like a sweet-old-girl.

Here are my beasts.  Unfortunately I had to put my Irish down the other month.  Painfull to say the least, he was my shadow.

Casey - my buddy(rip)

Nana - one horse of a dog, been know to knock lamps off the table once the tail gets going

and Pidge - the only Golden I've known who will not retrieve, hence she is a bit tubby!

All are just like one of the family.

Regards,
Jeff

Jeff,

A good friend of mine had a giant Irish named Casey, too. Great dog, but he's no longer with us.
