While walking back from lunch on a backstreet in Jersey City (by Harborside) this afternoon, I came across a guiy dumping vinyl into a trash bin. Apparently some radio station is throwing away its collection.
I can only carry so much, but I came away with about a 1 foot high stack that I will take home over the next few days. It was a bitch carrying that back to the office. But there's so much more there, mostly classical but some jazz and pop thrown in.
I need to take stock later on, but I just picked what I could. Got a few Mobile Fidelities and some RCA Living Stereo's (but no shaded dogs from what I can see).
Oh yeah, they have about 20,000 45's that are still inside the studio.
Enjoy,
Bob
