Acoustic Solid - Solid Machine Small Turntable
« on: 13 Jun 2007, 02:53 pm »
This is a beautiful, heavy, solid table that far exceeds it's price point. All aluminum construction. This is my floor demo with few hours on it. Comes with micro-processor controller as shown in first picture, extra string (yes, it's string driven) and Ortofon 520 MKII cartridge that has maybe an hour or two on it from a different table.

I wish I had a better picture as the ones below do not due this table justice.

 Asking $2400.
Prefer local pick-up but do have all original shipping material and carton. Shipping weight 60 lbs.
The 600 gram stabalizer/weight (shown on table in first picture) is available for an additional $100

Dimensions:

Turntable : 50 mm of massive Aluminium made from one block and in one process
 Tonearm : WTB250
 Cartridge : Ortofon 520MKII
 Mat : genuine leather
Motor : 24V Berger Synchronic motor w/micro controller power supply
Drive : string-drive in separate housing
Basis : 25mm thick Aluminium body
 Space : w/o motor unit, 12.2" x 12.2"
 Weight : around 55 Lbs
 M.S.R.P. : $2,900.00

Just wanted to add that this piece will not be going up on AudioGon. I am in no hurry to sell and will be just as happy if it does not sell at all. It really is that good.

It is currently holding a Clearaudio Virtuoso Wood cartridge feeding a ModWright SWLP tube rectified unit and the sound is heavenly.

The picture is a bit older and the current amps in the system are Bella EXtreme 100's driving EXtreme Adagio speakers.

Those who are close enough are more than welcome to come in and audition the table in it's current system,.
