Nice image - what lens is it?

I'd just straighten it up slightly and crop off the shadow on the left edge.

Thanks John.  For that picture I used a Nikon 24-85mm ED G lens.

That left edge bothered me a little.  I thought about cropping the picture a little.  Meh.  It is what it is.  No post processing.

I took this winter picture at Central Park yesterday with my Canon p&s.  I was amazed at the colorful paintings compared the gloomy winterscape.   :D

Central Park like it is

Now that's a good snapshot.  It's paintings within a painting!

I would like the image much better without the guy taking the picture in the foreground.
Cool shot though!!

This was my first attempt to make an interesting image with my new lens (Sony SAL-35F18) of my new speakers.  Not sure it's POTD-worthy, but consider that this is my first real camera.

Bored at work on a Saturday night so I decided to go out and take some photos around the ports (Footscray)

I think I'm going to do it more often.

Thanks!  I just learned how to manipulate the saturation and contrast on the camera.  I'm not yet sure why I would, but I'll figure it out.   :thumb:
