Hey!

Here are some snap shots from my short visit of my family in October 2008. When there with my brother, his wife and my niece. We were there about 2 weeks and didn't go to many places but maybe next time...

Emerald Buddha Temple. Sadly we got there late and didn't get in. :?

Now that's a sign you're not going to see here in the State

Anyway, the rest can be see here...

The digital vs. film feud? Doesn't exist. Digital won. At least concerning commercial photographers and most everyone else. I can't even get E6 processed locally.

But yeah, for artist, film is still viable. IF you you have a darkroom to process the film, and a high quality drum scanner (good luck getting parts) or the means to make Cibachrome or dye-transfer prints.

I will agree a hi rez scan of 4x5, will kick the crap out of any digital capture, but for 98% of photos.....it just doesn't matter.

Let the flames begin......

Here's a picture I just fell in love with at photo.net. No, I didn;t take it but there's just something about it that sits well with me. It's called "4 elements"

That's awesome.  If the moon is truly in-camera I'm even more impressed.

Doubt it.  Where's the moon's reflection in the water?  And in low light the DOF wouldn't likely cover both.

The photo was taken in autofocus mode, without a tripod.

Here's a picture I wanted to take but never had my camera. When I had the camera then I realized the narrow view through the window.
