.....I have to refamiliarize myself with film personalities.... and there's lots of 'em with restrictions too based on where I can get film developed.
I have the same Minolta lens on an 450si that I bought in 94 (still use it), its alway been a good solid lens.
The first real film camera I used was my dad's SRT 201 with a 50 1.8 lens (back in high school). He gave it to me last year or the year before - nice camera.
What's the car to the left of the windshield - a Lotus?
Spent the day at Mont Blonc (just outside of Geneva). Spectacular is an understatement.
I've got to say...you guys are great photographers. I'm not into photographybut I always check this thread for the great pictures. I'm amazed. A couple of weeks back my family was eating at a Vietnamese restaurant and the cook came out to greet us. We visit it quite often. I told her of Guy 13 andshowed her some of his pictures of Vietnam. Keep up the great work and keep them coming.
Guy 13, the name of the restaurant is Hao Hao and it is in Round Rock, Texas. The original owner left the restaurant sold it to a Vietnamese lady and newcook. Unfortunately the food wasn't of the same quality as previously andthat is why the cook came out to talk to us. Also I didn't get her name.Regardless the service is good and we love the Won Ton soup. Very good indeed and haven't found anything better. We will still be going back. If I remember next time I will ask her name. Stay well my friend and don't answer the door bill collectors come knocking.
