Wow, that's just cool!  :thumb:

Much cooler than a leak in the septic field.

Hi Scott F.
Wow... Only 48,100 miles on the odometer for a 1965 F-100,
that's almost a 50 years of truck.
Is that the real mileage?
Nice dash board and nice pictures.
How about one day the outside picture of your truck?

Heeding Din's advice, I decided to upgrade my pocketable P&S to the  Sony RX100MK2. Extremely nice little camera and it's built like a tank. I'm still wrapping my head around all the presets and features...and this thing is loaded with them.

....

Hey!

Congratulation on the new camera Scott. That's a great camera with a photographer in mind, so it is great for all level from casual P&S shooters to seasoned photographers.

   Enjoy :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Hi Guy,

No, it's 148,000. It got a ground up restoration at about 110,000. Here's a pic for the outside for ya

Hiya Buddy!

Yep, from everything I've seen so far, it's a killer little camera. It especially does a great job in low light situations. I've got a feeling, this will be my 'go to' camera, even over my big Canon with good glass.

BISL, that sucks, especially if you had to dig it by hand.

Hi Scott F.
Thanks for your answers.
Are those two beauties yours?
Do you fly the big one or just the four wheels?
Your F-100 is nice, minus the red roof, sorry, I had to say.
I do like a lot the blue line on the side.
Is that your everyday ride?
So many questions.
Normal for a curious guy like me.

Guy 13
A camera with low light possibilities is a good thing,
you can avoid the use of a flash which does not always give good results.

Here's something you don't see everyday... a peacock in the ice and snow.

Taken with the Sony RX100MK2 and its good, low-light capabilities, however this is the opposite case of too much light!  :o

Peacock In The Snow

Cool! Argus eternal or guardian of the Royals depending on which mythology you enjoy more.

Guy, the plane isn't mine...wish it was but I've already got too many expensive hobbies  :duh:
I wouldn't call my truck a daily driver but I do drive it a few days a week. I'm one of those guys that won't own a vehicle that I don't drive, regardless of how nice it is.

Now that is a a neat photo - answers the question, Where do peacocks go when it snows, and do their feet get cold?

Winter Barn Scenes

Two renditions of the same photo. Taken with my new Sony Compact RX100MK2.
Boy, I'm really impressed with this P&S... well, really it's so much more. I keep this baby in my pocket wherever I go.

Playing with the little Sony RX100MK2, I've got to say I'm impressed. For a pocketable P&S, even on automatic settings, this camera is pretty impressive.

Here's a quick shot to show the lens/sensor capability.

I was out checking on my construction crews yesterday. I'm in the middle of a restoration of a high school built in 1923. This portion of the building was essentially abandoned and left to mother natures devices.

Here is the B&W version I called Decay

and here is the raw photo prior to the simple conversion to B&W

Speaking to the lens/sensor, it was a bright sunny day. the window had a screen on it which reflected a lot of light. If you notice in the pics, the sensor picked up quite a bit of detail from the trees through the window. Then as you look at the upper left of the pic, you'll see quite a bit of detail in the upper corner of the room.

With a typical P&S, the window would be completely washed out and the upper left shaded area would end up almost black with little shading detail.

I'm still learning the Sony RX100MK2 but I've got say so far, I'm diggin' it  :thumb:

What is that center black dot in the sky?  (Sorry, I'm a bit pedantic and curious that way.)
