I use Photobucket.
From what I understand, they compress the image, so you lose some pixels.
But personally, I'd rather have size over quality.

Gfroman - Awesome B&W pictures. I was in Kathmandu last year, and I had multiple chances to photograph these sadhus, but I'm not comfortable with people photography yet. Not sure why.

Thanks! Spend a lot of time chasing them in the winter, but mild winter means fewer eagles in one place.

Being born the same year I don't really remember the cars when new, I do have many fond memories of riding around with my Grandfather in his '57 Chev and playing on his quarter horse ranch.

Well, the new models came out in Sept. so I would have just turned 11 years old when these beauties came out.

As you can see in that pic, with those full length fender skirts, if you had a flat you had to first remove them.

And about the only thing missing is about 3 feet of Continental Kit hanging off the rear bumper and damn near dragging the ground.

Ah, the good old days.

PeteG - The first and second are good, but the third one is spectacular. Just wish you had gotten closer to the action (either via crop/ longer lens). Nice capture still of a very tough subjects. Care to share EXIF data?

We had an identical color scheme 56 Ford wagon. Much memories with us 3 kids and ole Toby our cocker spaniel and Mom and Dad going on weekend jaunts around the island. (Oahu). And movies at the old Waialae drive in regardless of the ghost stories.

In '57 I was 9 years old so I'm sure I noticed the new Fords. They probably looked fantastic compared to my Dad's 1953 Hudson Wasp. The back seat in the old Hudson's were huge, too bad I was too young to put it to good use, my brother and I just used it to fight in during long trips.

Hey, those are get pictures of eagle both of you guy took. I went eagle watching
here in Oklahoma a few years back around this time and all I got was frost bite..

Those 4th gen Thunderbirds are my favorite (64-66). The couple that lived next door when I was growing up had a black 66 Thunderbird.

Another guy at the end of the street had a white 58 Thunderbird.

I must say I'm not a big fan of the Continental kits. But those 64-66 T-Birds are otherwise perfect.

You're right about the continental kits. They're sorta worthless, especially on this car. The TBird has 15" rims and the kit only holds a 14" rim. My wife likes it though, so it's probably never coming off.
