Just a sweet sound

Can't help it, I have to plug the Jolida 100A modded by hotrodaudiomods.com, the level 3 upgrade.  I was initially going to bust out my Lp's because Cd's (after spendng huge dollars on transports) still confirmed my initial impression that the technology was inherently flawed-re sampling rate etc--up sampling helped.  Well. With what I consider "getting out of the way" technology the BP26 with a Bryston 4BSST and PMC OB1 speakers-I am convinced that anyone that has redbook (CD) digititas has a path to a wonderful analogue sound.  The speakers and pre-amp/amp allowed the Jolida 100A (MOD 3-and that is critical) to just shine.  The LP's will remain packed-enough said.  One damn happy musical enthusiast has spoken.

You don't have to go to the extremes of mods to get cd's to shine. For me it was a power conditioner that brought out detail and resolution from cd's. Now with my new Sony NS9100ES universal player, I concur there is no need to play vinyl.
