$995  Original List $3290

This is the latest and greatest of all the EVO amps: Evo 2 Gen 2.

To my ears and the ears of others in the audio forums, it is more musical and involving than Bel Canto's ICE-based amps (s300 and m300s), and I compared all three of these amps in my system at length. It delivers 120 watts into 8 ohms, yet it draws only 15 watts at idle, so you can leave it on all the time without worry about electric costs.

I have two of these that I use (in mono mode), and I am selling the newer one (the later serial number) because I bought small monitor speakers and the extra power of two amps is unnecessary. The amp can be used as stereo or mono, has both single ended RCAs and balanced XLR connections, and has the orginal box and manual.

This was a factory produced Gen 2 amp, not a factory upgrade to Gen 2. It is sleek-looking, very cool running, and totally flawless. Since it's a heavy amp, I would be willing to travel within a 50 mile radius of the New York metro area to save on shipping costs. Otherwise, we can split shipping costs and paypal fees.

I am a long-time member of audiogon and ebay, and have 100% positive feedback on both.  Send me a message for my user names.

Check Positive Feedback (Issue 14) and Ultimate AV (Sept, 2004) as well as 6moons (May, 2004) and Stereotimes for rave reviews.

I will consider trades for amplifiers of comparable value.

Bumping this up and asking $975--this asking price is $520 less than the same amp someone is offering on audiogon, and that one was factory upgraded to Gen 2, not a factory produced one like this one is. This amp is in 10/10 condition. I didn't even fill out the warranty card. Whoever buys this at this price is getting an absolutely incredible deal.

Hi,

You probably should advertise on audiogon as there is more exposure for you to sell your amplifier.  Your asking price is very cheap as the evo 2 is a great product.
