Torus for Source Components

For source components, is there any reason to get a bigger unit other than for more outlets, provided the amp handling is adequate? Thanks.

Hi JL,

Just go with a smaller unit for the source components as they do not draw much amperage.

Thanks, James. Are the smaller units (e.g. 5 amp) totally silent - no transformer buzzing, fan, etc.? The unit would be about 4 feet from me in a very quiet dedicated room.

No fans and they are totally silent.

James, thanks for the quick replies. In addition, I've been using a BP-20 for the past 7 years and may be upgrading to a BP-26 soon.
