Those UPS folks are magicians.
My seller coughed up the $170.00 and I think I found a Rega P3 locally with an Elys 2 that I am going to buy and sell the VPI for parts and I should come out just about even on this transaction somehow If anyone needs an Benz Ace high output mc cartridge mounted on a Sumiko arm wired with Kimber Kable let me know
Quote from: eric the red on 13 Jun 2007, 09:22 pmDang-the VPI just won't die. Now my buyer says that he is not happy with what I sent him (as the ad said, a VPI Jr for PARTS) and basically dissected everything I sent him (well packed ) and told me why it won't work for him. Now he wants to send everything back to me and I pay the return shipping ( I paid the 45 bucks to ship the two boxes to him) or wants me to send him $75.00 and he will sell the parts himself-sigh. If you send him any money to settle the deal, be certain to get a signed statement from the buyer specifying what was included, the price, and the terms and that the deal is now final. Make sure it includes his full name, address and telephone number. Otherwise, these kinds of transactions have a way of dragging on.If the buyer won't agree to provide this statement, then pay the $45 to get your table back and move on to the next buyer. This time, however, specify in your ad and in the invoice that the sale is final without refund.
