that shouldn't be *too* hard for someone who knows whats what.
Basically, I'm looking to make an "active" cable system for the AKG ck6x capsule (microphone). It can sort of be done all ready.,..sort of. Lets say it has been done in the past.
You'd need to polarize the capsule w/ 53v I believe, and then some sort of FET setup in the custom machined receptacle for the capsule. Matching ends on the other side to screw back on to the preamp body of the microphone (in this case, the AKG c460 or c480b).
the goal is to detach the capsule from the mic body w/a 3m cable...w/o any signal degradation.
If anyone wants to discuss this w/me in more detail, PM me and I'll be happy to dump everything I know on you to see if its feasible.
