I know.  I keep looking at them and thinking they are bargains but, man, I just don't have another room to outfit.  :duh:

I'm waiting for George to put his Vandersteen 5A's up for sale. He won't need them with the new RSL's coming in. Even used they're out of my league.

Are you changing speaker brands Miklorsmith?  Or perhaps awaiting Zu's Definition 2?

The Aurum Cantus' definitely should be on the list.  Don't forget the Quad esl 63 and the VSA VR4 Gen III HSE too.  Lots of great amps up for sale too, like 2 Moscodes, Manley Mahis, Dodd 120 Monos, Odyssey Extreme Monos, the list goes on....Must...resist...

I'm glad I'm not alone. For the prices these are some nice deals. I know I don't need a spare pair of large speakers like the Epiphany's but it would be nice. I could just see the look on my wife's face when another pair of very large speakers arrived.  :o

I move every two years to 5 months.  So I need small speakers and 626's.  I would love to have the new flying V's, but my lotto tickets still miss by 5 digits.  Of course the (hypothetical) mansion they would sit in, would be vacant  90% of the time, but then the finish would not be tarnished by all the oohs and aahs along with the paws!

Personally, I'm not sure why people want to charge me more for being a member.  I'm sure you have all noticed that members ask the highest price here first.  Testing the waters I suppose.  It's kind of disturbing to see members try to gauge the ones they interact with here and then go to the other place.  Sign of the times I guess.

I start here because I would rather sell to a fellow AC'er than a random person.  I'd always give AC'ers a shot at a lower price before posting on AG/eBay.  My general approach would be to try and post a fair price here, lower if it there's little interest, then move to other venues with more viewers if needed.  I'm unlikely to lower my price further once I move to other venues.

That's a killer deal on the Ephiphanies! :o  A little too rich for my blood at the moment but someone's gonna get a great deal.

I'm not switching.  The Pro's retail for around $10k, I was merely offering a deal for a, shall we say, enthusiastic buyer.  heh.

(edited to add:) I just noticed you've been a member for a week and you're noticing 'trends'... and passing judgement... whatever, dude....(end edit)

No, I haven't noticed, just the opposite in fact.  AC members generally charge fellow AC'ers less in the want ads and post it on Agon for a little more.  That's what I've noticed for years... haven't seen much deviation.  Member of forums I frequent generally get the best deals than someone I don't know at all.  So, I'm not sure what you're talking about...

It's a simple matter of exposure when selling... get it out in as many places as possible so folks will see it.  There's nothing stopping you from making an offer at what you think is a reasonable price either.  You never know what folks are willing to take unless you ask.

I noticed those Usher 6381's went up for sale recently.. man, those are smokin' hot....  There really are a lot of nice things in the Trading Post at the moment.  Best of luck to everyone...

I always place things here first or concurrently with agon and always offer things for a lower price here -- until enough time has gone by and then I'll eventually adjust the agon price to reflect what I have here.  In fact, I'll be doing this shortly with my Revolutions.  I'll now go to my bottom line firm price here, and if no interest, will make the same change on agon.
