Electro-voice Regency Cabinet Woofer suggestions?
« on: 1 Jun 2007, 02:52 am »
Had these old cabinets for years And have decided to bring them back from the dead. Need 15in woofers and tweeters and crossovers. I have a couple of EV midrange horns. Not sure if I want to use the horns. Need suggestions for 2way or 3way?

Hello EV-Man, I can't find a picture of the Regency cabinet on Google. Based on your comment about being able to fit a 15"er in it, it must be decent size.

As soon as I read your post, I thought of this thread:

http://www.hifilit.com/hifilit/Electro-Voice/Electro-Voice.htm - a bunch of scans about the regency

Why not use the original EV SP-15 (not SP-15B) woofer? You can still find them on ebay if you look.
