Candela is in the House!

My Candela arrived and is now connected to my new Mono SEs.  I am certain all of you long time audiophiles are getting a kick out of my comments but I am hearing cleariness and detail I did not know existed.  I went from not liking the way my Monitor 9is sounded with the Denon 3806 AVR to being completely surprised by how well they sound connected to the Odyssey Equipment.  You guys tell me it will even get better as the amps break in, wow!!!  Next step is to have Wayne modify the Analog Section of my Squeezebox!  This trek has been expensive so far but the results are just so dramatic!!!

I will end this thread by saying Klaus has been a terrific guy to deal with and I am totally happy!  Once I get the $$$ of this trek behind me I will be back to Klaus for HT center and Surround Amp Recommendatations.

I imagine the Candela will break in too.

I recall about a month or so after I received my Khartago that the system just took a 360 turn. The soundstage boomed, the height expanded and the overall detail and clarity just improved....

You are in for a treat!

Congrats!

Welcome to the club - now start buying tubes!  Actually I recommend spending some time getting to know the system so that when you do get sucked into rolling you will have a solid benchmark for comparison...

Enjoy!

No - a single output is standard but the dual is a very worthwhile upgrade IMHO.

Thanks for the reply...I have a Candela on order and better give Klause a call to upgrade it to dual output.

I felt my Candella sorta made jumps about every fifteen or twenty hours till it had about sixty or seventy hours on it. I'd say that when you have about seventy five hours on it, it will be about as good as it will get. Might add that I could hear a slight improvement when I changed the power cable.

Ah, I never even took out the stock power cable.

Been running an after market since day 1.

Looking forward to the burn in.

when Stealth Cables started up they ran some on Ebay, and I picked up a couple of them for about $50 a piece. I only wish I'd bought the IC's and speaker cables as well. As for the price; they're now almost ten times the price.
