excellent condition - upgraded wood face plates (purple heart/walnut) and black chassis covers ($680). They are beautiful to look at and sound even better!
I've had these for a few months and am only selling because we sold our home and I'll be moving to a much bigger room(open loft). I bought these because my listening room is only 12x14 and my Supratek tube amps heat up the room too much - and I live in Florida... The BC's run pretty much cold even when left on 24x7 - they only use 75W each at idle. Output is 225wpc into 8 ohms - 1600wpc into 1 ohm!!! These amps are very special sounding - very seductive and liquid - expecially for SS amps. Excellent bass control and definition. I'm only selling because I'm still in love with my tubed Supratek's. These amps have RCA and XLR inputs and dual speaker outputs - they were upgraded to MK II status in Feb 06 by the previous owner. The amps are REALLY heavy and I strongly prefer local pickup - they weigh about 105 pounds each... Retail was around $7300 + $680. I can deliver within 200 miles or so for gas $$
I'm just south of Jacksonville, Florida. I have the original packing boxes but don't feel confident that UPS etc... won't damage these due to weight...
