I am thinking about consolidating my SACD and CD playback into one box by selling my old reliable PD-65 CD player and buying a Philips 963SA to replace it. Currently, I am using a Sony NS500V for SACD and DVD playback, but if I buy the 963 I'll just use the Sony for DVD in another room.
I'm trying to find out if there's anyone out there who might have heard both the Pioneer (which I have always been very happy with) and the Philips (which I have not heard, but have heard good things about).
