I used to own a Unison Research Unico that I thought I would keep for much longer than I actually did. I purchased three pairs of platinum-grade NOS tubes from Upscale Audio thinking I would tube-roll the unit and find which one I liked best, but I ended up trying the Mullards first and leaving them in. I have since sold the Unico and have had these two pairs of 12AU7's which have never been used (but have been tested rigorously by Upscale Audio and are matched pairs of platinum-grade tubes, which from Upscale means they're probably as good as NOS gets) sitting around. I was thinking I might get another 12AU7 component, but after almost 8 months I realize thats not going to happen, so these brand-new tubes are up for sale at a reduced price. If you are interested, I can send you pics of the tubes and the boxes Upscale Audio ships them in, which list their tube testing results, but seeing as they're platinum-grade I think they're just about perfect as far as that is concerned.
