I'm weighing my choices re; relatively inexpensive phono preamp. I have a NAD 533 turntable with several mods, blue point special evo3 and tube rogue 66 magnum pre with a phono inputs that I'm not satisfied with b/c of hum. I'm considering that gram slee, ciaudio and jolida. I already have a ciaudio dac with upgraded power which could be used with a 'ciaudio' phono pre. I' re-asking this question as I've added the jolida into consideration at a discounted price (see earlier threat; NAD 533). Any opinions regarding these three phono pre's. They are all around the same price. This question was posted earlier by me, though now, I'm asking about a different combo?     so....pardon me for the seeming repetition of questions. I'm (I hope) on a learning curve.

Take a look at the Promitheus Audio Phono. Solid state with separate power supply and transformer output coupled. Adjustable gain and loading. A lot of Phono for the money.

goob et al- thanks for generous offering of opinions. Its great that you have such strong views. You inspired me to purchase my ciaudio dac and revelation power cable. I've purchased and received the a cambridge azur 640p phono pre, I'm using the Bolder power supply with it (from my old Art DI/O dac), it works and 'seems' to deepen the base end? The 640p plays through tubed rogue preamp. It doesn't hide bad recordings and great ones like (i'm listening to now) p. methany's 'as falls wichita, so falls wichita falls' sound great!
