General Chime question...( from a newb)
I have a tube pre-amp that has way more gain than I need when I feed it with a CD player.  The CD player has a 2V output, but if I were to place the Chime before the tube pre-amp (Foreplay) would I decrease the overall volume of the system, since the Chime's output is maxed at 1.2 V ?  I'm guessing it's possible to build a Chime without the volume control?

Thanks for your time.

Yes, you can bypass volume with jumpers.  You can even add another switch to select between fast/slow modes of the digital filter.  Probably sound better to go direct and bypass the linestage.  However, that configuration is rarely possible.

Jim,

Congrats on the review. As always, you kicked ass with the Chime design  :thumb:.

Best,
Anand.
