Hi Jason,
One thing I am particularly interested in, is has the interference generated by the REF9 been reduced significantly in the version 2? 
This was the only reason why I did not buy the REF9.02, because it severely interfered with FM and TV reception.  Please tell me this is no longer a problem in V2.  As I considered this a major design flaw I hope it was addressed.

V2  has lower noise floor and RF energy are 20dB lower.   

In a general sense, V2 has no FM compatibility issue, but it's subject to everyone's unique situations:

The bottom line is fairly simple, it's a matter of Signal vs. Noise.   Switching amplifier has more RF energy, and it increases the 'FM noise floor', so the FM tuner sees less Signal.  A weaker station may get interference, while a strong station would seem immune.  A more selective FM tuner have better ability to 'pick up' signals, and the location of the antenna (The energy deteriorates exponentially, so the further away the antenna, the better S/N selectivity).

Thats great to here I will give NF another chance and get a pair to try at home.

My situation was quite severe and airborne interference, was travelling at least several metres away and through a double brick wall. I have my suspicions that the use of 240 volt over here may increase the RFI.

So far dealers who received V2 reported that the RFI on FM is no longer an issue.
