For sale is my pair of Reimer Teton GS speakers. I am the 3rd owner. The veneer is cedar. They have 12" Eminence woofers in place of the 11" HiVi units for increased power handling. The original owner also had dual binding posts and a switch with extras installed in the x-over such that 2 separate amplication systems (one for 2-channel, one for HT) could be hooked up simultaneously. The switch would choose between the 2 sets of binding posts. The "HT" set of posts had a 60 hz (?) cutoff built in for the addition of subs. I have one extra woofer in the box as a replacement should the need arise.
Now for the not so good news. The 2nd owner put a scratch on the side of one speaker. It is through the veneer, approx. 1" in length. I was stupid and did the same to the other speaker except the scratch is approx. 2" long. The veneer on both speakers is otherwise in very good condition. The scratches absolutely cannot be seen from the listening position, only from the side(s).
Because of their condition, and the fact that there are no boxes or crates for them, they are priced accordingly. Price is $2100.00 for the pair. Local pick up only. I live in Racine, WI, about 30 minutes south of Milwaukee or 60 minutes north of Chicago.
