I don't even see a link. I've read that now all themes have all the features, but even logging off I can't find any link for chat. Is it my firewall? I'd sure love to check it out but I'm at wits end, here.

It's at the top of the page. You've got the FAQ, Search, Memberlist, Usergroups, Gallery, Links, then the Chat option (at the end of the top line).

Whatdayado after that I don't know. I tried it once a loooooong time ago on HD and there was no one around. And I don't like chatting anyways online.
