Looking for a good sounding dvd player or cd burner mainly for playing cds for a friend whose Realistic cdp finally bonked on him for good. Any recommendations what to buy at one of the big boxes that sounds decent? Would like to have something that he can return if it's too crappy. TIA

For audio, best Denon or Sony they sell.

For video, I like Pioneer best.
