FS: VMPS RM2's w/ All the Upgrades
« on: 22 Apr 2007, 04:32 pm »
I'm looking to make a significant upgrade in speakers and that's the only reason I'm selling the speakers. For the money, I haven't heard anything that comes close. The speakers are in fantastic shape and were made in 2005. So they're not an older version. They have an oak finish and have the following upgrades--auricaps, soundcoat, megawoofer, lambswool, FST tweeter, and SR-71/Blackhole 5. These are about as tweeked as you'll find a pair. They're also a true full range speaker so you don't need a subwoofer, unlike most of the other VMPS models. Pics available. A fellow AC member did a comparison between my RM2's and his RM30's--he preferred the RM2's.

Looking for $2000 obo. I also have all the original packaging. I live in Kirkland, WA, if you want to audition or come pick them up. I'm also willing to ship directly to VMPS if you want some of the newer upgrades done to them--like the OXO's.

I'm so glad to not see this ad anymore.  So what did you replace the RM2s with? I know you were very happy with them so whatever your new speakers are they must be truly great.

It's not a leap of faith...you will be handsomely rewarded for your choice.

Well those are some speakers I'd like to hear too. I like the engineering behind them. I'd like to know how you compare the two speakers. Either way I'm pretty sure those are some very excellent speakers.

I just checked prices and the Revelations are way expensive. You must have bought Dendreon at 4 bucks and dumped at 20. I had been thinking the 2.5's for some reason, must be these nasty meds I'm on.

Now I really want to hear what you think of them. If you lived any closer I'd driver over to hear for myself.
