This device could end my marriage. I can only imagine the anger from my wife when it kept making noise and she had to hunt for it. Hmm, thinking about it the Clocky might be stomped to death the first time she had to chase it down. Damn that would be funny as long as I wasn't in the line of fire. As you can guess she is not a morning person.

My thoughts exactly. All its going to do is run away when you go to shut it off then you'll just get pissed and throw the thing across the room.

We bought the drag racing clock for our oldest (12) grandson last year. He thought it was great but I'm not sure how much his parents like it.

I wonder how many of those Clocky things end up flying out of a window?

I understand they are shortly coming out with a new improved version. Unconfirmed rumor has it that it will be glass, triangular in shape, and somehow use sand as a part of its components.

I actually bought a 'clocky'.It's alarm tone was tonally unpleasant.I bought a bottle of 'brilliant pebbles',set the bottle beside the clock, and was amazed at the improvement in tone. However, still thinking something was missing,I mailed it off to the NASA 'cryo' lab and had it treated. Now I am simply astonished at the beauty of the richness of tone the thing produces. It seems to jump and roll somewhat more smoothly than before the 'treatment',also.

Have the wheels recoated with a higher quality compound preferably a laytex based chemical coating.
NOT TEFLON!! OR PVC
Also, have the power supply modded too! aa
