Pierre Moerlen's Gong-Time is the Key

This is a progressive jazz album which I have on Lp. It features an Xylophone as the lead instrument and is really a joy to hear. I had another previous album 'Live' which I carelessly left on top of the heat register and is now warped. This album had a few good tracks but didn't  have the xylophone.
I was hoping to find a cd version of 'Time is the Key' on Amazon, but no such luck. Anyone else hear of it?

I was a big Gong fan in the mid to late 70's.  Most of their LP's have been reissued on CD, some under different titles. If you look under "Gong" at Amazon you'll find "Time is the Key" under imports. Also look for "Gazeuse" - my favorite. Allan Holdsworth smokes on the guitar.

Hopefully I'll have Holdsworth's 'I.O.U.' on CD pretty quick...one of the regulars here found a site that had some copies for sale (thanks, Mike!).  I've been looking for this disc for many years, so hopefully soon I'll be able to report on how the CD version sounds.

I recall an interview w/Eddie Van Halen many years ago where he stated that in his opinion, I.O.U. was the greatest guitar album ever recorded.
