Though I personally think Stan is a god, I've seen a number of post complaining about extremely long turn around times lately. Have you heard if things have improved?

I own a NAD C-540 that was modded by Dan Wright from www.modwright.com. I use it as my main transport and the sound is way better than stock. He modified both sections, the digital output and the analog output. You don't have to wait long and he is very accesible with the progress on modifications.

Stan was plugged when the SACD 1000 was blown out earlier in the year. I believe the situation has improved now. You could always call him at his listed in the White Pages Eugene Oregon phone Number and ask (if he picks up the phone that is).
