Any opinions/experiences with the MF DACs? Namely the TriVista DAC and the new X-DAC v.8. I have been impressed with the few MF pieces I have had the pleasure of installing and/or listening too. Is there anyone modding them? Have you looked/heard/modded any MF DACs? Just curious. I am on the lookout for a used Northstar at the moment. 
I modded one MF Tri-Vista SACD player, both SACD and CD circuits. Sounded wonderful, but a lot of mods required to improve it. CD sounded better than SACD after mods. It's on my cut-list of mods that I dont do anymore. No time, sorry.
