To all AC members:
I am looking at purchasing a 4 GB flash-based MP3 player within the next few weeks. However, in the research that I have done it seems that no manufacturer offers the features that I want:
Desired Features:
1) removable battery
2) memory expansion slot
3) small size, but all MP3 players are relatively small
Apple iPod Nano is nice and tends to have good sound, but it is pricey and it does not have a removable battery.
SanDisk models are less expensive, but they appear to have poorer sound quality (than the iPod) and might be less reliable.
Insignia models also appear to be a good choice, but are only available at Best Buy and do not appear to be widely used.
Creative Labs also appear a good choice, but it appears that they tend to freeze up.
Please recommend a reliable unit with good sound quality with the above criteria. Thank you for reading and advice.
Best,
John
