Bugle powersupply question.
« on: 6 Apr 2007, 04:35 pm »
I was powering my Bugle with 4 6volt SLAs and charging them when needed. it sounded better than the 9volt standard.
Well as luck would have it while I was charging the batteries the other night my wife says she smells something like rotten eggs. :duh:
The batteries had big bulges on them and were hot and are toast.
So I ordered a power supply kit  :D
The question is are there any mods to the power supply that would be beneficial? Or should I just build it as is?
thanks

You could always add a line filter in front of the supply.  As for the SLA, I think they have to be charged in parallel?
