I just took in this Usher CD-1 on some vinyl and NOS tubes plus cash - I really was more curious about it than anything so I jumped at the chance to take in a new source from the venerable Usher folks.
This player has <50 hours use in a 2nd system - the original owner goes through gear faster than my kids and a box of Cap'n Crunch.
Seriously folks, he's got modded gear and unobtanium stuff as well, he wanted tubes and vinyl and I picked out the Usher out of mere curiousity.
Turns out this is one great piece. Amazing soundstage and incredible detail and resolution.
I'm asking $600obo - paypal preferred and will ship only to verified addresses no acceptions without prior arrangements. CAN and HI buyers must pay add'l shipping.
The new retail is $1099 and is SCARCELY available in US at this time afaik.
