Further to this review, I inadvertantly tested his assertion that interference came from the speaker cables of the Nuforce.

I run two systems side by side now, one (Nuforce) for CD and one for FM radio (Cambridge 840a).  I've changed speaker cable on the CD system from Chord Signature to Acoustic Zen Satori which are less well shielded than the Chord.  When both systems are on (as they are when switching between systems), there is more interference on the FM system with the Acoustic Zen cables on the Nuforce amp than when the Chord Signature are being used.

Did we already think that so much of the interference came from the cables before or did I miss a post?  I've seen notes referring to shielded speaker cable but assumed that this was to protect the signal in the speaker cable rather than to stop interference getting out.

Am I wrong in thinking this assertion to be true?

We recommended using shielded cable to stop RFI (80Mhz to 120Mhz) from affecting FM. Well, this issue will not be relevant now as we will be shipping our next generation amplifier V2 in May. V2 has no RFI on FM.  See the V2 topic.

OK, I see it now.  Jason, that's an huge relief.  It makes a big difference for me and potentially means that I could bi-amp or go multi channel in the future.

I'll give my dealer a ring to organize the upgrade.
