Frank,
Noticed that your web guy entered "6NIP" for the 6N1P tube in the descriptions. Click the links at the bottom of the announcement. Just a heads up.

Frank,
Check out:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/index.htm

Under Phono, the link is labeled as "Transcendence Seven", yet points correctly to the "Ultra" phono preamp. Also the T8 page has a link to a T5 review. Probably no longer relevant.

And again:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/preamplifier/Transcendence_Eight_Vacuum_Tube_Preamplifier.htm

"Of pure vacuum tube line preamplifiers, our new Transcendence Eight is easily the best we have ever heard. It is so musically outstanding, it replaces the Transcendence Eight, Transcendence Six, and Transcendence Seven series in our product line."

Should read "...it replaces the Transcendence Five, Transcendence Six, and Transcendence Seven series in our product line.", as it does not replace itself. :icon_lol:

Yet again:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/preamplifier/dyna_preamps.htm

Both preamp links are broken. Generates 404 Not Found error.

There are several places where the link URLs are incorrect....
for examples: http://www.avahifi.com/root/f/index.htm, http://www.avahifi.com/root/f/preamplifier/omegastar_pat5.htm, etc. The ones I came across can be fixed by changing the "/f/" to "/equipment/" so the user is directed to the correct directory. This should be a simple job for the webmaster using a "find & replace" utility.

I thought that /f/ looked funny. I tried taking it out, no joy. Didn't feel like looking for the proper folder name. Yes, this is a very easy fix. May want to use a utility to verify all of the links in the site. I'm guessing the Webmaster is either coding by hand via notepad or other editor, or not verifying links with his tools.

Frank,

The links on this page...:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/preamplifier/omegastar_preamp.htm

...link to the Ultra EC/SL models, and not the OmegaStar model (the links are working correctly on the 'buying guide' page, however). In addition, the link on this page to the OmegaStar SL also goes to the Ultra page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/preamplifier/omegastar_ec_preamp.htm

Found another...

On this page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/bridge/Ultra_Bridge.htm

The link in paragraph #2 for the OmegaStar bridge links to the OmegaStar 240EX instead. Furthermore, the image on the 240EX page does not load. Nor does the image for the 240/3EX. The link for the 260EX gives a "404 Not Found" error...the rest of the OmegaStar amps seem ok.

Frank,

Looks like most of it is working fine, however the images for the OmegaStar 240EX and 240/3EX still don't load for me (I get a placeholder but cannot load the image manually), and the link on the Ultra Bridge page for the OS Bridge (in the text description) still links to the 240 amp...everything else looks good!

Found some more.

On this page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/preamplifier/comparison_grid.htm

The links for both Ultra pre's, as well as the OmegaStar EC link to dead/placeholder pages.

The link for the T8 goes to a page for the remote option.

The OS SL page links fine.

Clicking on the amplifier images on page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/amplifier/dyna_amp_rebuild.htm

brings up the Ultra Hybrid RIAA Phono Preamplifier page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/phono_preamplifier/t7_sf_phono_preamp.htm

with the exception of the U70 image, that brings up a place holder page:

http://www.avahifi.com/templates/ava-all-open.dwt

Frank,
Go here:

http://www.dead-links.com/

and enter your web site. Also you can download Integrity here:

http://peacockmedia.co.uk/integrity/

Your web guy should also check for proper W3C validation as well.

Couple more...

On this page:

http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/index.htm

-"ULtra Dac" <---case error

-The links for both the Ultra and T8 phono stages don't go anywhere, they just reload the current page

-The link for the Ultra Bridge goes to the OmegaStar Bridge, and the link for the OmegaStar Bridge goes to the Buffered Line Driver page.
