Yep, if you go to the general Asylum, you will see a post about the April Fools joke. Like anyone wants to purchase that headache.

Headache? Because they don't allow hot links to one's commercial website?

Hey!

Wha?  :o There is something fishy here.

I went to AudioAsylum home page and see that the current high bidder is Lirpa Labs, LLC at $1.2M :o Well, if my memory served me right.... remember magazine called "Audio"? When they were still around they have the yearly annual buying guide. And I recalled that I saw a company with similar name, with similar spelling listed with outrageous spec and price. And from what I've heard it was just a joke that the Audio magazine came up with. If I'm wrong on this or anyone have info on this please let me know I'm still curious of how and why Audio magazine did that?

Anyway, back to the AudioAsylum.... I haven't been there for a long time since I've joint the AC here. So, I think this is an April Fools joke for sure. :D But if it were for sale for real... I wonder who are going to buy it? Bose maybe? :jester:

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

PS

I'm currently selling off my whole system and will be getting the Bose radio sometime the end of the month. aa

No, that is not what I meant at all. I have been an AA member for several years. I was referring to the amount of work that must be involved in maintaining such a large site. I can't imagine how much work goes into it. I have a lot of respect for the head moderators there.
Audio Circle does not have nearly as many members an from what I understand, this site is a large undertaking as well.

Well, I don't know if I want to change my name to Boseman than show up at NY Rave with a Bose radio for a gear shootout wearing Bose T-shirt. I think you guys probably going to beat me up on the spot!

Hey! Who need a room full of big expensive audio equipments to get room full of stereo sound if you can get that with a small Bose radio with a life like sound! :jester:

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:
