Canada, worldwide and possibly AK/HI/PR slightly more

I actually bought two of these from Holland recently....a DL 160vdH (that I'm using now with approximately 18 hours on it) and this DL110vdH.....which is still in it's jeweler's case. I saved on freight from Holland so I bought the two.
The retail in the US on these is $139.00. a vdH stylus and re-tip is in the $$$ several hundred dollar range for individuals. You can find an occasional dealer that gets wholesale prices that will pass part of that benefit to you...but they still tend to sell for more than $245.00.
Klaus, of Odyssey, is such a dealer and he often has vdH re-tipped cartridges available at excellent prices. I bought a Sumiko Blue Point a year ago + from him for $
325.00. It was bloody awful sounding (no fault of Klaus', of course) - truly a vdH can only improve upon an already good design (like the Denon's are)
I'm 99% sure that the Denon 110 and 160 are identical except for the cantilever and stylus. As this DL110 has the vdH boron cantilever assembly and eeny-weeny vdH diamond tip, the models are essentially the same. I paid about 15% more for the DL160 I am using currently.
These tips last longer than most due to their very slim profile and terrific construction. You're generally looking at 2x the average life of a vdH stylus over most types...which means you'll have the services of this one for a very long time.
Here are my comments about the DL-160vdH for reference sake:
