Hi, Anyone out there have opinion of the Rotel rp-1000 turntables from the 70's, with recomendations for cartridges. I currently own one (it's badged as an Apan bru 121 in Australia) and I'm quite happy with it (not in the best condition tho). I have an opputunity to buy another on cheapishly so I can keep the old one for a second system, testing mods etc. Or would I be better off chasing something else in a similar price bracket? (cos the're garbage and I just dont know any better)
