Nice looking system, great pictures, too!

Is the VR2 bass as good as they say? Always wanted to hear a pair of them, but no dealer in Seattle.

Great looking system.  I bet those Von Schweikerts and Jolidas play well together.  Let us know how your new DH lab interconnects sound when you get a handle on them.   If you're down in the St. Louis area, be sure and give the GAS boys a ring. There's no shortage of tube gear to play with. :D

Very nice looking system.

I bet it would sound even better if you could get an area rug on the hardwood floor in front of the system and possibly cover the tv while you are listening to music.

Taking it a step further, some room treatments would also be a huge plus.

I do have an area rug in the center of the room however it doesnt show on the pic, also, at times I do place a blanket to cover the tv.  But cosmetically it looks weird when guest come over and see a blanket over your tv

This is basically my starter system, I used to owned "Shanling" but I had enough of that brand and I went with Jolida after careful consideration.  I still got some tweaking and upgrading to do, need a nice Apollo Clone stand or a VTI BL04 still undecided on the rack since I would like to keep adding to the system I need room for growth.  I am very impress with the DH Labs product line, I was kinda skeptical but after reviewing and having owned DNM, Acoustic Research and other brands but the DH product seem to blend very well.  Also, I am waiting on my new PC for my amp which I ordered one from the ultimate cable company, also, an Ipod silver cable connector.  I have been considering upgrading my speakers spikes as well or just maybe buying a nice maple platform large enoug for them to sit on the with bare spikes buried into the block, that would be a nice isolation control.  Well, atleast I do think.  Seems to me that the hardwood floors tend to resonate a bit due to the nice bass coming from the VSA speakers.  Nothing distracting to others but to me I hear a difference.

I am happy with the Jolida brand, I was having my doubts about some products being made in China but my understanding is that Jolida is an American company that overlooks their products and manufacturing in China...

Thanks

Pull those speakers out into the room. I can't tell for sure from the pics but it looks like you have the room.
If you can't leave them out full time at least try it and see how they sound.
