Brian,

Would it be possible for you to describe to us what you perceive to be the difference in sound and performance between a Larger with the 12" and 15" versus the Larger with the 12" plugged and the new 120oz motor 15" installed?

Thank you.

With the new driver I find the first octave to be cleaner and stronger.

IF you are into DIY you can beef up the LSW cabinet to more closely match that of the VSS.

Thanks, Brian.  Well, that's yet another thing on my upgrade list!  (But I have two Largers, so I'd need two adapters.)  I will keep this in mind, and after I sell some of my stuff, I'll upgrade.

Any thoughts as to the best way to plug the 12" hole?  A 13" x 13" square of plywood could be attached to either the inside or the outside.  I assume you would want to use some gasket material to insure an airtight seal.  Or would you make a circular plug with a slightly tapered edge that you would just tap into the hole and seal it with wood putty.  Or with your CNC mill take a 3/4" piece of solid wood, make a 13" circle, then reduce the 13" diameter to 12" for the first 1/2" of the circle, thus getting a 12" plug with a 13" lip.  Or am I over looking the obvious?
