Light My Fire- Cuban Big Band?
« on: 15 Mar 2007, 06:17 pm »
I was watching an episode of History Detectives on PBS. They were researching an historic lighter. Of course they played several renditions of Light My Fire by The Doors. One short snippet was of a Cuban style big band. I really love that style and was wondering if anyone could identify the disc it came from.

Yes, thats the one. They played several renditions of Light My Fire as backround music but the Cuban style big band really stuck out for me as I'd never heard it before. The short snippet they played made me smile. Its something one would never think of on their own. :duh:

Send them an email....ask about the music from that show. I don't know who plays it....but I do like Jose Feliciano's "Light My Fire"...... :guitar:
