EAC puzzle
« on: 15 Mar 2007, 01:28 am »
When I start EAC, the four following boxes appear in succesion, apparently as warnings (Windows XP sp2):

C:\Program Files\Exact Audio Copy\CDDB.DAT
\CDQUEUE.DAT
\CDFILES.DAT
\ENCQUEUE.DAT

Whether I X out each box, or press ok in each one, EAC starts up OK, and does retrieve the CD info from an online database. I would prefer not having to deal with these warnings each time I start EAC up.

Thanks,

Rupe

You should have files by those names in the Exact Audio Copy folder.  Use Windows Explorer to see if they exist.  If not, the best thing might be to reload EAC.  Or, if you would like to simply copy them to your folder, send me a PM and I'll email them to you.  I can't guarantee this will work though.

Hi Skipperrik.

Yes- those files are in the EAC folder.

For a reason that I do not know, things are working as they should this morning.  Wierd...

Thank you,

Rupe
