Price List

I hate to criticize VMPS but I thought constructive criticism might help and I would suggest that now that Brain has time while recovering from his foot that he get together with John and redo the price list. I was fantasizing about my future upgrade and looked at the list and the new RM 60 is about the only thing that makes sense it has just 1 or 2 prices  - ie - is OXO per speaker or pair; RM40 requires woofer upgrade - so why even list the price without the upgrade - also it seems new things have popped up I haven't heard explained - ie powered woofer on the 40 etc. - I haven't checked the web page so maybe it is clearer their.

Why not RM40 $4999
            RM40 w OXO 5100

Ok I guess there are a lot of combinations but any way just an observation - I was actually trying to figure 40 v 60 and it seems that a fully loaded 40 is close to the price of the 60 but I couldn't figure it out for sure

Hi Tom,

Brian is totally "SWAMPED" right now just trying to get speakers out and then the back log of parts orders.

We have been working on a price list for several months, which sounds easy until you realize that most all the speakers "evolved" and there are few true congruency's to the line.

The reason the upgrades are listed separately is because many clients want to know the "entry ticket" and then "pick and choose" their speaker and build like they want it to be.

It is also because dealers have to "compute" their pricing based on different margins for base speakers than upgrades.

So you might find a list I have put together here, helpful.  Eventually, I intend to have a page for each speaker, and all the various options, but a couple "personal" issues have me so busy, that I won't be able to do this for a while yet.

But the price list is only a guideline, and is always intended to be somewhat dynamic, in that Brian will change designs. or options quickly if needed.

Brian or a dealer will generally have to "help and advise" when you have questions.  Don't hesitate to contact us at any time if you have questions.

Or of course, post here :green:

I like the "black" list it is clearer with the listing of speaker then options I could figure out the price.

Keep working I am anxious for some of the RM60s to get out there so that some of the early birds can give us a report.

Twilight Zone :o  My background is white on that site.

I wonder how that is happening that some of you see black (I know it's not April 1st yet)

OK  now I've got it.

Just changed my profile and it is now a very sexy red and black background.

Yeah, very cool.

Reminds me a little of Harmonic Discord, which I like to read because the black did make for better contrast.

All, keep in mind, that I put this Forum up, to allow me to work on things on a low traffic board and while any and everyone is invited to visit, post and comment, it is not intended to take the place of our circle here.

I may be able (when time allows) to be able to use it to archive, information from here, and compile tweaks and other various VMPS related posts.
