this was a trio consisting of Marco Bennevento on keys and various effects, Reed Mathis on bass and Mike Dillon on drums/percussion.

Korg has a pair of new field recorders that can record in several of the various DSD file formats.  1bit / 2.8gHz and even 1b / 5.6gHz on their larger unit.
this recording was done on their small hand held, the MR1.  the .DFF files were converted straight to redbook standards with their supplied software.

pretty cool!
There are going to be some major audience recordings circulating this year.

Thanks for sharing the Flac file!  I thought I was going to be bored until about 3 minutes  :thumb:

Any chance of sharing Flac files in 24/96 from the DSD master?

the software is a little clunky w/the 24bit output from the DSD masters.  lots of noise.  still working on it...
