Not just for this reason but I have no desire to change OS until I have to.  I would stay away for at least 3 years if I can.

O.K.  The 3/8 build of SS 6.5.2 (not yet officially released- available at slimdevices.com) is up and running.  I can't however get to the SS from an otherwise well functioning network.

Thanks for the heads up.  I have an upgrade version of Vista coming in, maybe I'll end up just tossing it in a drawer.

The problem isn't with Vista.

SS has been developed/built before Vista became available.  A SlimServer download is not yet officialy offered for the Vista OS.

It took a little bit of work to get my Vista networked with W2K.  Otherwise, I must say that, so far, I am otherwise delighted by Vista.
