Bought a pair of the Super 8 drivers in mini-monitors for $650 all up.  STUNNED BY HOW GOOD THEY ARE.  Not just "for the money".  Very little below 50hz (in these small cabinets), but to-die-for mids & highs.  (You'll wonder why Zu needs a super tweeter after hearing these.. or any Fostex or Lowthers for that matter, I guess.)

98dB sensitivity - 3W 2A3 is plenty.

One of the best speaker deals I've come across.  Just wanted to pass it along.

He told me he's not making cabinets anymore, just selling the drivers, so this may be a DIY thing from here on out.   He has some other cabinets in stock, but no more monitors, I think.

Like you said who need a super tweeter anymore.

Im going to get the cast 10" and build a 2.8MKII box for them.

They're good for the money but before long you'll happily trade a gum-scraping for that 6 dB peak at 2.5 Khz.

The MKII box is better suited for my need. Only 1 driver and the front is less larger.
